Recurring Dream

Q: Hi Jeanette,
I am a 40-year-old woman who has a recurrent dream. Your specialty may not be dreams, but any ideas will help.

My recurrent dream always involves a baby. Situations and places change, but I am always packing this baby around with me, attending to it when it needs fed or changed. It has eyes much wiser than a real baby. It does not give off a malicious sense, rather a very calm spirit, patient with me when it has to wait for attention. I often remember it needs attention after it has waited for hours and hours. It is silent, peaceful, waiting, forgiving, patient.

In one recent dream the baby died while I wept over it, people from my past gathered around outside on the lawn where we were. It spoke the only words I remember ever hearing it speak; '
I Love You'. Everyone around me applauded and wept.

However, a few nights ago that baby was on my hip again, safe and sound. What do you think?

A: Hi W.G.,
Your timing is perfect - I have just added a q&a article on
dreams. As you can see from the article, it is not really possible to accurately interpret another person's dream without knowing their history (including past lives if possible), as well as their emotional reactions to various elements of the dream. Other factors should be considered as well, such as current events (personal as well as 'the rest of the world') a person has been thinking about, health issues, the soul's purpose for this lifetime, etc., etc.

Your best option, aside from doing the research yourself, is to get in touch with someone locally who can ask the right questions to guide you toward a deeper understanding of what you are trying to tell yourself.
