Full Moon Contacts
DEAR READER: Last February a series of these columns discussed the three Full Moon Festivals of Spring: The Festival of Easter, at the time of the full moon of Aries -- April; the festival of Wesak, at the full moon of Taurus -- May usually; and the festival of Humanity, full moon of Gemini -- June usually.
These three festivals (and the full moons of other months in lesser ways) will be of growing importance in the Age of Aquarius and it is good for us as individuals and for the world in general if more and more people will begin observing these times.
Since the Masters who are connected with the spiritual growth and development of the earth have promised to be especially close and available for contact during the twelve hours prior to each full moon, I feel that it is important for us as individuals wishing to make spiritual progress to put ourselves in communication with them whenever possible.
Therefore I will give you here a meditation outline which you may follow alone or with friends sometime during those twelve hours. The last half-hour would be ideal but do whenever you can. We will be joined then in spirit even if not in person.
Relax physically and enter into the Quietness. Take several deep breaths to aid in the alignment of the physical, emotional, and lower mental bodies. Think about the meaning of this Festival which commemorates “the risen, living Christ, the expression of the Love of God.” On this day the Assembly of our Elder Brothers, the spiritual Hierarchy, which He guides and directs, is being increasingly recognized and the resurrecting, uplifting nature of God’s love is being emphasized. (This Festival is the great Western and Christian Festival, but honors the complete Christ available to ALL mankind, not just that Christ presented through Jesus and through Him to the “Christian” worlds.)
“Visualization. As an Easter Lily lifts straightly toward the sun, opening its petals to receive the sun’s energy, so the aligned personality lifts to the soul -- a resurrection into beauty, into radiance.
“Reflection: a. the lifting of the little life to the radiant Life of Divinity. b. the lifting of humanity to the glory of soul -- resurrection.
“Say: “Down from the mountain too I come, bringing the light of Love, the love of God. Into the chalice of all forms I meet, I pour this Love, which Light confers, this Love which life sustains. I see the Love of life divine pour through the form, my own and others. It heals and soothes. Thus is the task performed. Thus is the man of Earth transformed into a Son of God.”
“Bless the whole world with the Glory of Easter. Peace to All Beings North - South - East - West - Above - Below. Peace to All Beings.”
