DEAR F.K.: A Ouija board is simply one of many means through which incarnate and excarnate human beings can communicate. An incarnate is a person who has a flesh and blood body. An excarnate is a person who has ‘died’, left the body, and now lives in the spirit world.
In our everyday world we are aware that there are many different levels of education, intelligence, honesty, etc. Since people do not basically change simply because they become excarnates, these same personality traits and characteristics will exist among excarnates.
Those excarnates who will make the effort continue to grow and advance. But it seems that often those of the lower levels of development, either through ignorance or willfulness, continue even for centuries without having made much progress.
It is these low level (sometimes evil) excarnates who make it risky to communicate through such means as the Ouija board. Some mischievous, misguided, or evil spirits will take every opportunity to make contact with the incarnate side of life. When they find people playing with a Ouija without proper motivation or protection they may take advantage of it for selfish purposes.
There are people who have performed rituals of witchcraft unwittingly because they trusted the contacts they made and followed the instructions without evaluation.
They made three mistakes. First, they were motivated ONLY by curiosity (which is not necessarily bad). Second, they made contact with the spirit world without asking for the protection of God so they, in effect, invited ANYONE from the astral level to approach them.
Third, they followed the instructions given without questioning. Now, God gave you a brain and He expects you to use it to discriminate and choose wisely that which you will do. If the spirits you contact are not willing to explain the reasons for and the results of any suggestion, you should question it seriously. Those following God’s path will help you and instruct you, not just order you.
There are also people who have used Ouija boards to contact high level beings who have given them genuinely helpful, beautiful teachings. So it is up to you just how this ‘telephone’ will be used. Whatever means of communication you choose, if you are trying to follow God’s path and ask for His help and guidance, you will have His protection. Please do not risk investigating that ‘other world’ without that protection.
