Joy in the Heavens
There is joy in the heavens tonight! The angels and the spirits sing Their songs of joyous love.
A man declared his love for God. A little one, a boy so sad, brought his dog with injured paw.
A woman called her friend in need. And offered solace, comfort, love. God heard and saw them all.
The angels sing; the spirits rejoice. The love of God spreads o’er the earth. As one by one around the world God’s people answer to His call; Here, Lord. Here am I, send me!
He sends them forth in ones and twos, no thrilling missions to perform, but with love to share, and health and wealth and even more -- our knowledge that He cares.
It matters not the name you use, your Creator is mine too. Join with us, earth-one, and add your song to ours. Then angel, spirit, man are one!
