Wind and Rain

The winds blow and the rains come,
Yet I am one with God.
There are problems and troubles galore
Yet I am one with God.
My days stretch on before and from the past
Yet I am one with God.
The flowers bloom and the sailboat ‘flies’.
Yet I am one with God.

What is this God with whom I am one?
I am He and I am She.
I know not if It is Mind, or Love, but
I am He and I am She.
The winds and the rains, they come and go, but
I am He and I am She.
The flowers bloom, they fall and they decay, but
I am He and I am She.

I am the flowers and the wind and the rain,
For I am a part of the Whole.
There is no Me and You and Him and Her,
For I am a part of the Whole.
I grow, I think, I feel, I die,
But I am a part of the Whole.
I am ME; I really am;
But I am a part of the Whole.

What then is this Whole of which I am a part?
It is Me; It is Us; It is God.
I am not friendless; I am not alone, for
It is Me; It is Us; It is God.
You are not friendless; You are not alone, for
It is You; It is Us; It is God.
We are one, my brother, my sister, my friend, for
It is Me; It is You; It is God.

I am only a part; but I AM a part;
For I am one with God,
I am Wisdom and I am Love;
I am He and I am She.
I am all that I am and much, much more
For I am a part of the Whole.
Who then is this for whom the world exists?
It is Me; It is You; It is God.
