Greetings
(originally published as a newspaper column in the early 1980's) For a number of years I have been channeling (bringing through) messages from ‘the other side’. Ramsingh, a teacher, is usually the spokesman and brings lessons of a general nature such as principles of truth and their application in everyday living. I thought that you might like to hear directly from them, so occasionally I will let the guides take over and ‘dictate’ their thoughts directly. This is the first such article. Jeanette
DEAR READERS: (and Dear Jeanette): We, your guides and teachers, are fascinated by this idea and eager to give it a try. So we greet you with enthusiasm and love as we begin this new venture together. And we are ‘together’ in a much more real sense than many of you realize.
In fact, WE are much more real than you may realize. In spite of the fact that we no longer have flesh bodies, we exist, we live. Since we are able to see and hear you, it is terribly frustrating that some of you are not even aware of our existence, much less of our presence.
But let me insert a word of warning here. As you become aware of us, some of you will develop the ability to communicate with us. This is wonderful! However, there are many on this side who should not be trusted to enter your mind in this way. You should provide protection for yourself, at least on a daily basis, through prayer, the ‘white light’, etc.
Your own guides and the high-level spirits are always under the direction of God. His protection (for you) will make it even easier for them to make intelligible contact as it will eliminate ‘static’.
Enough of instructions for this time! Now it is important for me to choose from the many messages of love and thanksgiving that are being offered from among my colleagues for this contact with you. We are creatures of love, love first for God, then for all that He has wrought and especially for you, each one.
You wonder how we, ‘important spirits from the other side!’ as some of you put it, can feel special love for you as individuals. Be aware that each one of you, as an individual, is an ‘important spirit on the earth side’. YOU are a child of God (your religious affiliation matters not to us) and YOU are an important individual!
We look forward to visiting with you each week and in the meantime we send you blessings that you may go in peace wherever you are and whatever your outward circumstances may be.
